I thought everyone knows the cocktail girls are where it's at.
The only thing they think about is more tips.

I have to disagree at least on the cocktail waitresses I know. Sometimes, when I don’t have change and they are busy, they will say don’t worry about it and refuse to take my 20 when I offer it to them and just say you can bring my change later when you aren’t so busy. I make sure I get the change myself. Many share their personal details in their life and I never get the impression they are gold digging. These girls and some guys too work really really hard and never stop. The ones I know always go out of their way to make your drink exactly the way I like it. I can’t say enough good things about them. They will even when they know I am in the middle of a Marathon bring me a bottle of water figuring I am getting dehydrated and refuse tip money since I didn’t ask for the water at that moment.

Advice from table games dealers would be much, much, MUCH higher than that!
8-)

I don't have a specific grudge against casino employees, but overwhelmingly most people are not, and never will be, intelligent gamblers.

If I were forced to follow the advice of a randomly selected dealer, I would prefer a 3-year employee over a 30-year veteran. The newer employee is not yet a confirmed failure.

Many cocktail servers are outstanding at their job, and can steer you to overdue jackpots on rare occasions, but I wouldn't take much gambling advice from them.

They never offer me advice, but quite often will wish me luck. One I have known so long, pre covid she would give me a quick good luck hug if I happened to be there on her shift. Now in the midst of Covid, she makes the drinks for the other servers and is an expert at it. Her shift is over at 1 AM. Exhausted and on her way home, she never fails to see if I am at one of my favorite machines. If I am there, she will stop over so we can bump elbows for luck. She is a sweetheart and such a hard worker.
