In my experience these have both been a lot better than the crappy 6/5 I was playing without realizing until I stopped a few months ago.
I do NOT have access to 9/6 at any casino I go to.
I've been looking for the highest pay tables and ever since that I swear I've been winning like once every three times instead of once every 10 to 20 times.

They're almost the same. 8/5 full coin is 97.30%.
8/6 1-coin is 97.22%, assuming the royal pays 250.
Have you looked at Bonus Poker? In casinos with bad vp, it's often a better choice. 7/5 Bonus is 98.01% full coin. Or you may be able to find 6/5 Bonus (96.87% full coin) for 25-cent denom.

BP is so much more fun. I guess it’s worth the EV sacrifice. Stunning to get $800 quad Aces.

In Vegas, I'm noticing more "fake" BP with all quads paying the same. Seems like a stupid idea because it eliminates the excitement of premium quad payoffs.
"Full pay fake" BP has a high return of 99.66% with an 8/5 schedule and 35 for all quads, but it's only available in a few casinos nationwide.

I’ve heard of those. I mean, with that EV, I guess I’d grin and bear it. It defeats the purpose of BP, granted.

Guess I’m a bit spoiled Still plenty of 9/6 quarter games in Ct and I still complain. To answer the question, I wouldn’t play either unless the comps were so generous it offset the more than 2 percent difference in total return over time. I knida doubt that. There was an ancient infomercial on TVbacbk in the 1960s when they were selling Florida property and advertising here. It would say Cmon Down

I think u r plenty spoiled Olds , u also have 99.9531 % pick a pair which with any slot club return at all gives the player the long run advantage !! I know , I know , you dont like pick em ! I like money , I dont think I love money but it comes in handy ! Do u like money Olds ??

A little levity Olds , I hope u understand . I also played games other than Pickem at mohegan . for some variety and camaflouge !! still cant spell lol !!
