With all due respect, I don't see how you can blame them, unless they hit DRAW.

I believe I recently "lost" 4 Aces. I was dealt two but playing too quickly, only held one (I hit the hold but not hard enough I guess). First two drawn were the other two Aces...there was a kicker among the other two drawn, don't remember if it was the last or penultimate I was in too much shock. So at least 1600 lost possibly 4000. Of course it never happens when I have 2 sixes. My losing streak would've likely been stopped at 8 or 9 instead of continuing to now 12. Very costly reminder to play slowly.

Chasing tier credit bonus, probably playing 900+ per hour instead of my usual 400-600...

TT, might I respectfully suggest adding a song to your play list? “Slow Hand,” a 1981 Pointer Sisters hit! I’ve been extra mindful of playing even slower than my normal molasses/tortoise/snail level speed at the bar. Sticky or blinking buttons, loud mouth patrons, and all of us below a circle of twenty mercifully silent TVs. VP Silence is Golden. Never leave home without earplugs.

I really missed BPD today. $125 quads twice a pittance compared to the $400 to be raked in for one. I’ll make a point of returning to the Marina oasis next time. :|

I am in my worst ever losing streak, back to back monthly losses for the first time in 3 years. It's so bad I have shut down play and just collecting free play to rebuild my bankroll. I was trying to play past the bad steak but it just don't end. Might even take the rest the year off and think about 2022. I don't seem to be the only one, my buddy cut way back and another I know is about to move play to another casino. That's poker as they say.

Make that 2 and 20,000 or so. Heeeeee. And to answer Wildman, every remaining old time vp player I have talked to is in the same boat including myself. Part of mine is discipline related though. In the red again for 2021. I was ahead of schedule a bit on Royals, now behind. Behind on quad deuces too. If I stay behind on both of these at the same time I have no chance at recovery in an 8 hour session. Tempted to go back to the old torture way of playing. Hit even a buck, cash out and run to the next machine. Not enough 99 percent machines left to do that anymore.

My losing trips are fewer and milder. A casino saturated area helps. It’s often a five minute strong stretch, an hour of losing and a partial bailout hit. On BP, the quad must be premium for the full bailout. JOB quad is the SOL Special.

If you constantly need to be "bailed out" on video poker, you're doing something wrong.

Yeah, playing above BR is usually the culprit. Back to Borgata, where I can start on a low flame and finely calibrate my play. The full gamut of denominations on a machine is a must.

In my case the something wrong is usually playing way above bankroll limits hoping for a last-minute come back. Betting 25 bucks a hand even with a $2000 bank will just ain’t gonna cut it long term

A 5dollar denomination play which is 25 dollars a tug requires a 20 thousand dollar bank not 2 thousand br ! I would say minimum 20k !!
