The old 99.54 percent Game Kings are still my favorites. The experts can post all they want about RNGs and so forth and technically they are correct, but just between you and me we probably play 4 million hands a year or more. When you see something happen over, over, and over again like a different brand of machine eating your bankroll or certain machines even Game Kings wiping you out consistently, one has to make their own decisions based on what we experience.

Patterns are caused by either bias or chance.

If I suspect a particular 99% game is biased, I can move to a different 99% game with no harm done.

But if I move to a 98% because I can't win on the 99, then my bias assessment must be correct or I'm throwing money away. Theoretically.

If the gang can figure how the Mrs consistently beats DDB Ultimate X with a 7/5 pay table other than Luck of the Irish, I would love to know. AP has seen this happen several times at Mohegan within a few minutes of us getting there. 😊

What does her most recent win/loss statement say?

Don’t know because she plays nickels and never gets a hand pay. My guess though is close to even. She only goes to the casino when I go so I have a good idea on the ups and downs. Once in awhile she gets an 8/5 game still bad odds

A win/loss statement tracks all carded activity.

Level of detail varies by casino. Some statements only show the net result. Others show both coin-in (total action) and coin-out.

I know. Mohegan doesn’t show coin in. I never asked if it is available on special request. Her win loss would not be accurate because sometimes she uses my card and sometimes I hers depending how close we are to earning a free play award. If there is a hand pay, the one who hit the winning button gets the W-2G no matter which card is in. One odd thing I noticed last year is the win loss for the Mrs was higher than it should have been. That is because even though I may have received a W-2G for hitting a button, the play ends up going on the card that was in at the time. That in effect would really mess up our taxes if we did not file a joint return.

That does complicate the situation.

It's hard to believe she's playing with an edge at that particular game. In this case I think I have to rely on the expert witness. If advantage player quits Pickem and becomes a UX 7/5 DDB specialist, I will accept that it's a >100% game. 8-)

Heee heeee. I doubt we will see that happen. We like to wish each other luck though and at least for the last few months, the Mrs has the luck of the Irish. I tried it myself and got smoked.
