Long delay in responding due to light dose of Covid, a fall putting my wife in hospital, new computer to replace dead one, and a Cruise.
Contacted MGCB to inquire as to why they previously told me that there was "no compact" with Soaring Eagle and Saganing.
I was told that most likely it was because their compact had expired in 2013. However, not mentioned during my previous call, section 12 of the expired compact calls for extension during renegotiations.
Board spokesman did not know if any talks were underway. He, not being a Lawyer, would not hazard a guess as to the legality either way.

My summation, and last word on this dead horse issue: Doesn't mean a pinch of sheit either way as long as I can still legally take their money. :D
Hope you and your wife have fully recovered from your infirmaties.

tech58. You are mostly wrong. In the State of Michigan it depends on which Class of gaming is going on at an "Indian Casino" in the State of Michigan.

If Class III gaming is going on in "Indian Casinos," the State of Michigan DOES REGULATE these operations.

TED this sign is on the wall at Soaring Eagle. The bottom of the sign tells all.

I am not going to get into what I see week after week month after month, many on this site just throw cold water on it. Not many play enough hands on a weekly basis to see or understand what I see.

Something is not right on a % payback in this casino.
I don't question SE's integrity on the rng in the games, but I would question their integrity on a payout that's 100s of thousands of dollars. "Oh the machine was malfunctioning, see? It turned off. Call a lawyer all you want, we deem it a malfunction."

Thanks OTB and OLDS. Both thru very easily thanks to the magic of Pfizer's Paxlovid.

AP86.
I have no reason to question SE"s integrity on the RNG either. But they have been nailed in the past for other violations. I still am searching for an answer about the RNG. Will maybe start new thread to continue my quest. Too much extraneous baggage here.

There is a big gold sign right by the garage elevators at Soaring Eagle that explicity says at the bottom that they're not regulated by the State of Michigan. I did see the same at Saganing but I forgot where.

Exactly. It doesn't seem like a very corporate place, but messing with the RNG is just too James Bond level for them, especially when it's already a winning game lol. That said, I would be very nervous if I was a big player on the HL room's dollar denom 10 hand bonus streak who had all 12x up and got dealt a royal. $480k, I'd feel like they could play games on that. I'd immediately take a picture on any sizeable jackpot there so they don't unplug and claim malfunction, which they still could if they truly wanted.

The one really shady thing I seen years ago at Saganing was a suit from management playing a progressive machine really late at night 4 am, maybe trying to clear out a high progressive? I don't know what their angle would have been because a w2 they'd have to put someone's info down. Shadiest thing I ever seen in a casino to date. It was some machine that looked like hot hits but wasn't hot hits, I remember he was doing the max bet at $3.60 a spin though. And yes, I'm 100% sure it was management he had the card and keys and a security guard was chumming with him.

I explicitly, and not explicity, in another post, mention the sign you wrote of.

Have a lucky day.
