Could not pull up either links above on RNG.Just my abilities i guess.
On any game, any pay-table,is the machine manufactured with an RNG that is in-accessible and un-alterable by the machine owner?

Or is a server based machine, with selectable/alterable pay-tables, also subject to manipulation of the RNG?
My home casino has been guilty of pulling aces from their Blackjack Shoes and have been penalized.
Is it possible to do similar dirty tricks with the RNG?

Yes.
Most older VP machines there have either been replaced or reprogrammed to server based.
I have very limited computer knowledge but I believe that this allows them to alter pay-tables and games offered and the like. Which is as it should be.
However this, at least in my mind, begs a question. Is it "possible" for a machine owner to alter the RNG in such a way that shifts the outcomes of hands in their favor, or is the RNG function in ROM and in-accessible to them?
I believe that the RNG function is programmed in when the machine is manufactured and is highly controlled, regulated, and verified by inspections, in tightly controlled markets like Vegas and AC.
But in Indian-land there is no inspectors or regulatory agencies that I have been able to find.
Our casino has a "compliance" office manned by casino employees. Which amounts to the fox guarding the chicken-coop.

I am interested in any info. I can get on this subject. I have absolutely no knowledge of anything wrong going on.

My initial effort to see if any inspections are occurring was a call to State Gaming Commission. They informed me that they have nothing to do with regulating Indian casinos. I asked the person on the line if he knew who does. I quote his answer: "As far as I know, nobody does. But you could try the Bureau Of Indian Affairs or the Indian Gaming Regulatory Commission."

Multiple tries to do that were totally fruitless. No one ever returned my calls. Not surprising.

Still curious and still searching. Any help would be appreciated.
I simply believe that each of us has the right to expect a fair and honest game with verification.

The only answerI ever got from a retiring slot attendant was the machines have a partial RNG but he woud not elaborate further. My gut feeling without any proof whatsoever is casinos have longer dud cycles but the end results are the sam meaning one will lose 90 percent or more of the time and wins are compressed into a short cycle. I only say that from maybe40 million hands of casino play and also a lot of practice on Wolf vp and a little Here to. I also sense the newer Macines as being much tighter than the old ones. Again, no proof except my experience

AP I understand your point exactly on tightness by pay-tables and have no problem with that. If I am foolish enough to play sucker pay-tables then shame on me. My question boils-down to the possibility of cheating by the casino. Can they F* with the RNG or not! Not saying they do or not just asking about the possibility!
I have read articles by "experts" who call it both ways and if I knew how to link to those I would.

For our not so expert players reading these posts let me remind you that selecting a good pay-table gets you into a game with a known probability of pay-back not of winning. The gods of the machine determine the latter.

All I am looking for is a known probability (good pay-table) and a truly random RNG. Any player out there that plays in an Indian casino should want that.

Where do we find out the integrity of the RNG? Still searching.

I have the same questions. The argument is y would they cheat they have the math in there favor but where money is involved ,well. and the states make more money as the indians make more so how hard would u think the state cares . Dan paymer I think once said they have a license to steal in ref to the indian casinos. I am not saying they would or do but they self regulate. The Rgn can be manipulated goinging by past events over the last few decades.
