Am I missing something here?

Was looking at the Odds and Statistics page on this website... It states that turning three of a kind into quads, your odds are 1/24. Should it not be 1/47? There are 47 cards left in the deck and only 1 will make four of a kind, is it not? My brain hurts from trying to think about it...  CM

Yes there are 47 cards cards but you are drawing two of them. The way I think about it is with combinations.Drawing two cards you have 1081 possible combinations. 47x46 / 1x2 = 1081Of those 1081 combination 46 will create 4K drawing to 3K.Let's say you have AAAYou draw an ace, now there are 46 cards remaining of which any will do.1081 / 46 = 23.5~FK

Sweet... Do you have a recipe for Tandori Chicken? If I can make that, I will not have the need for relationship counselling. Happy Holidays to you as well.... What about Tandori Turkey? That'd be good... CM

Here's from memory my recipe:For marinade3 cups yoghurt2 table spoons oil2 Table Spoons fresh garlic paste3 Table Spoons fresh ginger pasteJuice from 2 large lemons1 Table spoon Red chilli powerdry roasted fresh ground cumin seed to taste (1-2 TB spoon)1 tea spoon fenegreek power1/5 tea spoon cardamom power1 TB Spoon TurmericThe mariade weakens in flavour after cooking, so it should be just a little too tart and strong to taste good uncooked. It should be a bright yellow orange color from the turmeric and red pepper.Skin and score chicken, then marinate for at least 1 day and then barbecue like you would any chicken and try to blacken it a little.~FK

Wow! I've been looking for a 'tried and true' recipe for this. Thanks so much.

One question tho, where do I get "Red Chilli power, fenegreek power, cardamom power?"  We don't have a 'power' section in my local store.

hehehe J/K
