Hot Machines?

I made my weekly trip to the Tampa Hard Rock yesterday.  Started in my usual place and moved around a little.  There has been one machine in the casino that's been hot lately, so I played it for a while.  Hit 4 Aces and a set of quad 4s and made my daily cash-in pretty quickly.  I played the machine for another hour and nothing much happened so I moved to the main casino.  After about an hour more, I came back and there was a lady playing the hot machine.  I sat next to her and started to play.  I heard her say something and looked over to see she had a Royal after drawing one card.  I congratulated her and told her the same machine gave me 4 Aces about an hour ago.  She told me it gave her 4 Aces also.  This machine has been hot for a couple of weeks.

I'll tell you where the machine it is if you want to stop by and give it a try.  If you win anything, I get a 10% finders fee.

I live in Central Florida and my son lives in Ft. Lauderdale.  I play at the Tampa Hard Rock most every week and switch to the Hollywood Hard Rock, Coconut Creek or Gulfstream casinos when I'm visiting my son.  I play video poker about 3-4 hours a week and take 2-3 long video poker vacations a year.  I average about 3 Royals a year at the Hard Rocks and the other Florida casinos.   The .25 pay schedules are terrible, so I've had to develop some strategies to try to keep up.  I'm paying to play, but I have my cost per hour to a bare minimum.  You'll never beat the Florida Indian casinos long term the way they are now.  If we can get some competition going, we may have a chance.

Phil, I live near Tampa. Is that machine near the Rise restaurant? May take a drive over this week.

The hot machine is in the new section of the east casino facing the pool.  In the far end of the new section, you will see four new video poker machines in a cluster by themselves.  When you are playing the hot machine you will be facing the pool.  The hot machine is the left one.  I'll be there on Thursday, so please leave me a couple of quads..

And I think if you are sitting at that machine, and look to your right, you will see the Rise restaurant. If that is the machine bank with the hot one, I played them the last time that I was there, and had some success, too.
