WM49 still trying to figure out your Eagle plan. You were killing them then quittsville. I have uncertainty's about their attitude towards VP players. I have doubled coin-in for Diamond and have been dissed for a meal comp. Can we compare notes or something? Bonus days ahead can i buy you a beer?
After talking with host and him telling me I was up for the year, put me in a panic about taxes. So doing some thinking on the rest of the year.

I did get some more info on free play cap and have been pressing them hard to see how much I can push them for freebies. Got one in the fire as of last night, Styx concert, suite room and a block of tickets. Waiting for a response.

I looked for you on my vacation, was there 6 days.

I agree as they might not look at VP players the same as slot players. I think my run might come to an end on the freebies side. We will see. I am over 2 million coin in for the year, did 400k alone in Aug. No problem with comping me so far. You not getting a meal comp is a bit of a surprise to me. I might hit them up for meal 2 times a month at most. Never a problem.

Will be in and out for gas card tomorrow. Not sure my next stay and play, laying low for now.

I have been reading about other casinos cutting VP free play and comps, I don't know about here where we play but it could happen as well. We are lucky to get things now for good pay tables, lets hope it lasts a long time!

Thanks for your response WM.
Being up is good. Without two self-inflicted crater jobs i would be also. Only down 2K for the year on 1.8 million coin-in. Deserve worse!

Curious about the free play cap comment. I am stuck at $150 is that the cap ?

I stay 2-3-4 nights a week and maybe that is burning my comp credits. Like you , i have never been turned down on suites for family outings and tickets. My meal comp turndown was not my regular host but he saw something in the computer and went by that. After easily 400K coin-in that month i still do not know why. My host didn't know either, at least he said so. Would like to know more about the formula for comps but he played dumb. I have not had more than 2-3 meal comps all year so something else is going on.

I agree that we seem to have a pretty good deal with lots of good pay tables available. Have you tried the new machines in ASCEND? Dreamworthy buttons, at least until the drunks get to them.

Will be floating around tomorrow around mid-day. I will have my Northwestern hat on. I will not be surprised if we have seen each other many times.

You could be right might be burning up Host comps with rooms and things. I am still new to it all and trying to learn when I can.

I was not suppose to see the free play workings, and did not get the numbers needed to be in the know. The next time I asked about it he said I am not suppose to give that info out.

Here is what I got, the cap is $500 a week. Then drops to $250 then $150 then $125,$100 and so on.

I was at $250 at Standish for Oct. but dropped to $150 for Nov. I did think it was total coin in over 3 months then average it out. Not so sure I think its a per trip average for 3 months from what I could get out of the Host. They seem tight lip on it. I went up in free play at Eagle when I thought sure I was going down.

Love that new bar, many machines and good pay tables.

I be be gone by 10:30a heading to work tomorrow , sure we been playing next to each other at some point over the years. Looking at a promotion at Saganing for Nov. not sure if am pulling the trigger.

Got room and tickets to Styx concert in Dec. no problems, still in good graces I guess!

Good luck chasing that Royal!

Bob Marley is almost forty years dead, but the Wailers still rock.

Tech, $1.8M coin in is about 18 times my play. I've lost at least double. If I total my thread figures, I'd never return. You are quite fortunate.

Wow - this is an old thread brought back to life - To answer the question - Casinos do not like VP Players. I have been "no mailed" and all benefits cut off here in Colorado. When I asked the host why, Her response is that I play too good.. and they will probably cut off all VP players sooner than later.

A business can not exist unless it makes money. They either change the rules or get out of the losing business.
