Biggest gap between 1st and 2nd place in a contest

The current leader of the weekly contest scored 320,000 more points than the second place person. Webman, is that the biggest gap ever? I imagine someone will score over 82,000 and lower the difference a bit but that is still a crazy gap.

The first place score got a dealt royal and a dealt multiplier on DSTP. That results in an automatic 20x multiplier. It is about a 1 in 9 million chance of occurring.

It's far from over... this game probably more than any other has that extreme jackpot that makes a difference like this. Usually in this game when someone does hit the jackpot, the second place score ends up a little over 100,000 and I would imagine that will happen again here.
But I think I'm more impressed with this one from two years ago... Where TWO people hit the jackpot and finished just 745 points apart!

Wow, that is pretty amazing and oh so frustrating for Bennie to hit the rarest of rare hands and still not be able to claim the top spot.
