Contest Prizes for Non-US/Canada Citizens?

Hi everyone!
I'm happy to have found this site as it's made me even more addicted to VP than I was before! I was starting to have a lot of fun with the contests, but I've notices in the T&Cs any prizes can only be sent to US or Canadian residents. So, I don't suppose there is much point for me to play them from over the pond here in the UK!
I'm not sure if it would be possible, but could the prizes not be paid via PayPal? (then it will automatically convert it into GBP...)
Of course, this might all be for naught because I'm sure the odds are on me not winning if my history is anything to go by!
