Good Afternoon VP ForumI will start with some safe statement.  Thank you VP for having the daily VP contests.  They help me to kill time. My scores are not competitive.  When I look at the big hits of some players I am in disbelieve.  Can anybody have such fantastic luck?  So, I am not complaining about anyone else’s luck, just my lack thereof. I have never had a RF dealt to me.  Yet in this contest, that seems to be common among the score leaders.  I will leave it for the math experts to tell me what are the odds of a person being dealt a RF in just a 100 deal window.  Then multiply those odds by the number of contestants who have achieved this unusual goal.  They do it yesterday, today, and again tomorrow.  Is there something different about the RF hit frequency during the contests vs when playing for fun or in a training mode?I noticed that all of the leading scorers are playing one of two volatile games.  Doesn’t that suggest that if I want to be a scoring leader, at least be in the top 10, that I have to play the same games they are playing?  If the only way that a person can likely win the daily contest is to play one of these games, then why does VP offer the other games? There must be some subtle strategy that I am missing.  Can anyone tear themself away from the contest long enough to “spill the beans”?Thanks for your help!!

No beans to spill the only thing I can come up with is people have had golden horseshoes  implanted up their  behind. webman has assured us several times the scores are legit. also obtained by legal means.

Thanks for your response.  I am not saying that anything is illegitimate, just seems to be so unlikely.  I have been playing multiple games.  Should I stick with just one game?

Jim18, it all a numbers game. There are so many people playing so many sessions that there's bound to be a few great scores. I've never made the leader board on vp.com but I have had several dealt RFs playing in casinos. So, it can be done and if we play long enough we may be one of those lucky winners one of these days at vp.com.

Just a little perspective... I know nobody walks into a casino and expects to get a dealt royal flush in 100 or 500 hands played. If they do, they need to work on their expectations. These hits do, of course, actually happen in casinos. But, of course, not often at all.Let's use the latest Daily Contest as an example... 5,220 players. It's a one day contest. So all players combined are playing as much as you could individually play in 5,220 days. With daily contests the first 21 days of each month, that would be 20.7 years of individual play. And the top score is the very best day you had in all those 20.7 years. So, if March rolls around in the year 2032 and someone here has played in every daily contest in that time without ever drawing a dealt royal flush, then they might want to worry. Hopefully this demonstrates how a very rare event can and should happen with so many people playing. It just doesn't happen to everyone when they would like it to.
