would you explain how the dream card game should be played.
As I understand it the dream card should be used to improve the hand. The problem is in all of my cases changing the dream card does not improve the hand. In most cases I never change the dream card. Please explain.

The dream card is not a random card. It is specifically generated as the card that improves the hand to have the maximum potential. So, any time you change it you are reducing the potential return of the hand.
