How do the contest winners get notified?

Cash prize winners receive an Inbox message to confirm their shipping address. Winners of Gold memberships do not receive a notification, the gold membership is applied automatically.
If you're ever wondering how you did, you can view the contest results page to review all of the winners after a contest has concluded.

Just for the sake of clarity: when I spoke of being armed, it was in no way a reference to the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.
