Not sure if this is the right board or not - but thought I would give it a shot here (sorry if it's in the wrong place)

My husband and I are both looking at going GOLD – the question I have, is it better to each buy each other Gift Certificates - Then we would each get an added bump of 100K in points
If we go this direction – with the GC - do we each still get the GOLD achievement?
Are we still eligible for the welcome Gift package?
Or would it be better for us to just each purchase our own?

Your choice... no welcome package or free trial if you go the Gift Certificate route, but you’ll get the points. If you want to use the points later for more gold you may find that better, but as far as value you are better off going the subscription route if the gift package interests you at all.

I recently upgraded to Gold and I have to admit it's worth not having to wait on ads to play. (The Shirt and Coffee Mug is a nice added bonus)!!
