I completely agree with Casheer74. I no longer participate in the main channel since it's filled with divisive political talk that devolves into insults and more. And when people are leading in a contest, it distracts from the enjoyment of the game when the header they post spouts a political agenda.
I'm all for free speech, but in its place. And that's not where most of us want a brief break from what's going on in the rest of the world.

There are two chat rooms to choose from. One (VP chat) is not for political posts.
Also, there is a little x in the top right corner of the leaders posts that you can hit, so you don't have to see it.
A few options for those who don't want to read what someone posted.

Those work-arounds are well-known to regular users. The poster's main point is that the non-stop political rhetoric is taking away from the joy of the site for many. Work-arounds shouldn't be necessary to avoid annoyance that doesn't belong on a site like this, in my view.

Just giving Casheer some suggestions, not everyone knows about them.

I've noticed a lot of gamblers tend to sway to the right wing side of politics. It's always fascinating to see gamblers who will actively chastise some poor elderly guy who's suing a casino after losing half a million dollars of his retirement money as "personal responsibility, he chose to make the bets no one made him push the button!!!" But in the next breath, they're claiming that something on one of the machines they play is rigged and that the casino scammed them after a nightmare session.
The combination of the Darwinistic lack of empathy and hypocritical entitlement of some of these people never ceases to amaze me.

I've noticed a lot of gamblers miss the point of the threads they post in.
