Video Poker Forum

Things look a little different around here! I know change is always hard and some things will take a little getting used to, but I think in the end you will find this to be a great upgrade to the forum experience.

Of note:

• Attachments! Have you ever wished you could upload a photo along with your post instead of using a 3rd party upload site and clicking on a tree? Finally, this feature has arrived. See the "attachments" tab while posting a message to add images of your great casino wins and more!
• Improved search - Search is improved.
• Weird BBCode while posting - Okay, this will take a little getting used to. You'll see what I mean.
• Better on your phone - If you read the forum on your phone, it will be much cleaner now. Plus, post pictures of your casino wins right from your phone's camera or image library!
• Posts are managed a little differently - Active topics will show up in a new way... you can view recent posts, your own posts, subscribe to topics, and more.
• Report posts - Except not too often, because we're all adults and that's lame.
• Drafts - For our novelists who would benefit from thinking things through before actually pressing the POST button. Which brings us to...
• Editing limits - It's kind of annoying when you reply to someone and then they go to change their message and the discussion no longer makes sense! So everyone has 15 minutes to edit a post. After that, you'll just have to post your regrets in a follow-up message.
• A fresh start - Some old shenanigans have been made a thing of the past. More recent shenanigans forgiven. The same rules will apply to everyone. Which means 1) Everyone can post everywhere! (except in the gold forum for non-golds) and 2) Continuing to post in ways you ought not to will get people warned, suspended or banned. Please review the forum rules and help make this the best experience for everyone.

I'm sure there will be questions about how some new things work... I'm sure we'll come across some things that need to be cleaned up, and that will happen over the next several days (this was a major task to migrate to the new forum software). Feel free to discuss the new forum format and post any questions right here in this topic.

Looks like you did away with listing which forum members were active. Reason?

Attachments nice! Now people can stop using that spammy feeling site when they post pictures! Haha

Question regarding the new format. When it says a participant was last active, does that mean visiting the forum (as previously noted when entering the forum) or last time posting? Change of wording interesting.

We have migrated to completely new forum software, so there is nothing intentional about some of those more subtle differences. It was just designed differently. I’m not sure if “active” dates update only when posting or visiting, but we should be able to tell soon enough. Good question!
