I was playing triple double on the QuikQuads contest today when this happened. I doubt this would happen at the casino.

I too; don't see the error. I am wondering if the poster thinks that they should have won 2,000 credits and not just 400 per line?

In quick quads A3444 is the same as 4444. A3 = 4 just as 45999 is the same as 9999. You get more 4oak's in quick quads than you normally would. You have to get used to a slightly different strategy as you try to take advantage of the chance to get more 4oak's. See game rules.

I do have to wonder why a person would play a game called "quikquads" without bothering to find out what a quikquad is.

 Been there, done that, 2X. It's actually easy to do, if you're playing on a small screen. He was.

The first time I played that game in a contest, all I saw was, hundred play draw poker. The small "Quick Quads" at the bottom of the page is green and kinda blends in with the design. So I always turn the sound off when I play. Didn't know it was Quick Quads until I got one on the bottom line

The 1st time I played it at a casino (Blue Chip), I read how to make a quick quad, and started playing. After half an hour with no quick quads, I knew something was wrong. I looked at the screen beside me and saw he was playing.....6 COINS :ouch: So I tried to go to 6 coins, couldn't. So I asked him how he got 6 coins. He pointed to the top of the screen, where you click to get your choice of 5 coin draw, or 6 coin Quick. luckily this was before they discovered there was a flaw in the programing. So I quickly recovered my losses and won $250.

Quick Quads was one of the most popular games when it came out. You may have noticed, it still is one of the most popular at VideoPoker.com. I believe it came to the casinos in 2010, at least that's when I discovered it. As a nickel player, in August, of that year I won over $3000. All I had to do was to, just keep on playing, 'til I hit a premium quad. Back then, I budgeted my money, by quitting when I was up, or down $100. I won 11 out of the 1st 12 times, I played QQ.

The 2nd time I went to Blue Chip, the machines were noticeably tighter, and I lost for the 1st time at QQ's. The 3rd time I went to 4 Winds Hardford, all the 100 play machines were gone. Not just the QQ's, but all the 100's. The only multi lines left were the Superstars at the Bar. I asked why, and he said they were losing money on them.

The 2nd time I went to Harrah's Joliet, the QQ's were gone. I asked where they were, and he led me to where they used to be. He called, and said they were waiting for software. "May I ask why?" He thought for a minute, and said "No".

A few weeks later, at Motor City, the nickel QQ's were busy, so I was looking for a couple quarter QQ's I saw listed. Couldn't find 'em, so I asked, and he led me to the nickels. So I asked about the quarters I saw listed. He called, then told me, They got rid of them. "Why? They are really popular, hard to get on them." He called, then said "software problem". They never did replace them, and eventually they got tight.

Went over to Greektown, and a young twenty something man said "Haven't In seen you at Soaring Eagle?" We talked and he said "we used to all pile into a car and go there to play, when we were 18." Then he asked "What's your favorite game?". "Quick Quads." He said "Oh man, me and my buddies used to make a ton of money at Motor City, 'til they took 'em out."

So, most casinos responded by getting rid of QQ's or simply turning off the QQ's and keeping the 100 play. Some got software updates, and some, according to employees who would talk, changed the payouts, to recover what they lost. I kept this to myself, and kept most of my QQ winnings, less than 5 figures. I haven't played QQ's in about 8 years, except here.
