Contest Game is freezing midgame

I have been having one hell of a difficult time today with the contest.
I will get about 9 or 10 hands in and the game will just STOP...for no reason. I got dealt 4 of a kind 3s, for instance, and the game paused to say "Dream Card Winner" and then .... I wait...I wait....and....I wait some more until I realize that the game has frozen.
This happened regardless of the browser I was in....it happened in IE, Firefox, RockMelt
What's going on?
