I need a recommendation as to the best hotel to stay at in Laughlin that is dog friendly. Going there for a concert so VP availability is not important. Thanks.

Harrahs is the best of the lot in Laughlin and was allowing small dogs before covid. Not sure now.
It's also the most remote of the Laughlin casinos so you will need your car to casino hop.

I thought I had posted a similar comment earlier today about Harrahs, but, apparently, I neglected to hit the submit button.

The Riverside is dog friendly also. Harrahs now has a shuttle with the Trop which makes it easier to casino hop. Depending on the concert venue, harrahs can be a stretch to get to the concert

The shuttle runs from 10am to 8pm every 2 hours.

Thanks for the input. I am somewhat wary of Harrah's as I had two consecutive bad experiences there a number of years ago. Maybe things have changed. I am not worried about casino hopping as we are going for a concert and will probably be staying only overnight. We are driving to Laughlin so we will have my car though it may not be prudent to drive from where we stay to the event site in the Edgewater casino. Unfortunately, Edgewater apparently is not pet friendly. The concert is in October so no need to choose quickly.

It also will depend on the concert venue. The Edgewater has a inflatable dome on-site which is pretty nice. If at the concert site up the hill, it has a much larger capacity and pedestrian traffic is very heavy. Harrahs may run a shuttle and I hear there are shuttles from casino drive. I have been there during both. Everything seems to run fairly smooth. Have fun.

Concert is at the venue up the hill. My choices because of the dog have narrowed between Pioneer and Harrahs. Pioneer is within walking distance a cheaper. Harrahs would require taking the shuttle. Riverside dog-friendly rooms are all smoking so I ruled them out. Has anyone stayed at the Pioneer? Forget the casino, just want an opinion on the hotel room. Just needs to be clean and have a comfortable bed. If not a nice place, I will stay at Harrahs. Thanks again.

Had a friend who stayed in the Pioneer for three nights and raved about it. Went back six months later, had a different room he hated. They wouldn't switch him so he moved to the Trop.
