Recent LV Trip

Post by Lovely Janette »

I just returned from Las Vegas. We stayed at Paris and had a wonderful time. I was sad to see that my favorite Super Times Play machines at Caesars were gone. STP seems to be disappearing. I found two machines at Ballys, of which they were paying off quite nicely. We was Bette Midler perform at Caesars and the show was awesome. I would recommend seeing her! I was not my luckiest this trip, but can't wait to return. Thinking maybe October. Has anyone seen Elton John perform at Caesars?   I am thinking about going. Please share your recent LV experiences.

I have seen Sir Elton perform live several times but, alas, never the song I want to hear......"Candle In The Wind".

I heard that Cher made quite a few costume changes during her 90 minute show, which took away too much time for her singing. Did you think so?

I BELIEVE THERE WERE 16 CHANGES SHE MADE MY WIFE SAID SHE HAD A BODY SUITE ON WE WERE 6 ROWS FROM THE STAGE DEAD CENTER AND I COULD NOT TELL. DURING HER CHANGES THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMETHING GOING ON SEVERAL OLD CLIPS FROM THEIR TV SHOWS AND APPEARANCES ON LATE NIGHT TV SHOWS WE THOUGHT THESE WERE VERY GOOD ALSO.
I CAN SAY THE SHOW WENT BY VERY QUICKLY AND WE ENJOYED ALL OF IT.

Thanks so much for the information. My daughter, Michelle and her husband, Christopher, were on the LV trip with us. Actually, my husband Frank and i were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Also along for the trip was my brother-in-law, his wife and a friend. My son-in-law, Christopher was new to LV and of course was very lucky. He was throwing craps and hit the fire bet. It always seems that new players are lucky!!!! My daughter was very lucky at 3 card poker. It was not my luckiest trip; but I always enjoy VP! I also have a son, Michael, who is still in college so he could not be part of the celebration. He loves to play Texas Hold'em. He is always teasing me that I am constantly on this website!

Has anyone ever hit it big at the Harrahs Joliet casino? I enjoy going but don't hit much. Once I hit four aces with the kicker on DDB $1 fir $2k. But I haven't ever hit a RF. How about you?
