Earn $50 Reward dollars @ Las Vegas hilton?

Post by Shiny »

Got a postcard offer for 169 for 3 nights at the LV hilton.  They give you a couple of cocktails 6 buffets and some entries to the fitness center.  What has me intrigued is earning $50 in reward dollars, which gives you $150 Reward dollars.

my question:  what kind of coin in does it takes to get $50 in reward dollars.  I looked at the vpfree database and they don't have "reward dollars" only cash back.  Is this the same?

i am a strictly .25 VP player. Thanks.

I played there a fair amount of time and have never gotten close to $50 in reward dollars. I have no idea how you earn them, but it must not be by playing video poker. Who knows, maybe they have changed it since then. I had a similar offer last time I stayed there and the machine always seemed to read $0 reward dollars, though I earned some cash back. It was very confusing and I never saw anything that stated X amount of coin-in = X amount of reward dollars.

Each casino has its own policy regarding coin-in = comp points. Depending on denom, a few places run between 2-$4 per point. Many places pay worse for VP or not at all. CB/BB and comp points aren't the same animal by the way. It would probably be in your best interest to contact the rewards center regarding their points policy on both slots and VP.

$1 = $125 in slots or $250 in VP.

$50 reward dollars = $12,500 VP

For any sort of comps or cash back, VP requirements are always higher than slots requirements because VP has a much higher payback percentage and is a more "skilled" game than slots. I have always been of the opinion that slots is just a slow way of throwing your money away, and the comp/cash back policies of casinos confirm this.

I get offers all the time from the Coast Casinos I get a free rm for 2 night food and anywhere from $25.00 to 50.00 and they put in on my payers card after I check. This has been on going now for a few months after I won on a VP triple play I was delt a RF. I won $3000.00 so now they want the money back. Seems like if you have to pay taxes on your winnings the offers just flow in. I had never gotten so many offers before that. Oh yea I was Playing DW
