vegas trip

Post by jc1656 »

Hello all, I posted earlier that I was going to vegas for bowling tradeshow but was staying at luxor with my company. I worked several hours a day but had time at Southpoint and Excalibur to play(sportsbook bar $1 full pay DDB.lost a little playing QQ's at SOUTHPOINT, I stayed even for three days at Excalibur and then the dreaded 4th night:my friend(not a perfect DDB player)put 600.00 in no 4 of a kind. I than watched my other buddy put 1000.00 through same machine(he is close to perfect). They both had enough so I sat down on that machine and put 1000.00 through it and NO 4 OF A KIND. I am at the point where I may miss 2 hands out of a 1000! That was 2600.00 through with no 4 of a kind, thats why I have lost confidence in VP! This is my third trip where I put 2500.00 through with no 4oak,now that hampers the old bankroll and is frustrating on full pay!

I've had runs between quads on $1 single play a little worse than that.  Not many, but some, and not in consecutive sessions.  The last time for me was about a year and a half ago, and it ended up being a 3 hour dry spell.  Expensive.    I had a 7 hour dry spell over two sessions during a Vegas trip a few years ago, but that was "only" quarter single play.  Still pretty expensive.

Someone else may post their own story on the subject, and you might feel a bit better.

More then any us would prefer.  One thing about the folks here, they post the truth of their experiences.

Then again I have had a dry spell of no quads only to pop a royal, and have the no quads spell continue after that.

Yes, and as we've seen many times there's always a better story...and a worse one.

One of life's great mysteries - does that make it a hot cycle or a cold one?  Ice cold, except for one hand, and one hand can't be a cycle by itself.  Not much of a pattern there, either.  Maybe there were some pre-patterns that you didn't notice.

I've had the same thing happen.

I think I made it mad at me. I tried to trick it by changing denominations every hand trying to reach my goal so I could go home and get online here at the forum and brag. It would have none of my nonesense.

Well, you didn't mention the denomination you hit the RF at, but it must have been the high one since that's where all nice hits come.  Everyone knows that.  Lose small, win big.
