Hi All.Just some info for those going to Vegas next month.  There is some constructiion down at the Imperial Palace and MGM.  Both extrances are closed and a new route is available.  Also the Buses do not stop at the Imperial Palace right now.  Also price of 24 hour buffet is now 44.95 with your players card.  was 29.95 a year ago.  It is a lot more crowded, especially the young.  The VP machines seem a little looser.  Wife and I had a great time celebrating our 39th anniversary.  Hit a couple of straight flusses and a lot of 4 of a kind.  Hit 2 4 aces with a kicker but playing bonus poker and jokers wild.  Go Figure.  The new bus that is faster for fremont st is the SDX.  Also couldn't find the shuttle ot Sams Town at Bills.  Enjoy and Have fun.  I did.     

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, papag!! Thanks for the helpful info! Glad you had FUN! Did you get downtown to the new "D" casino with the DETROIT coney islands. (formerly Fitzgeralds) The looongest bar in Nevada is there and boasts 15 TV screens on Detroit sports.

I got a change to get downtown but I'm sorry I didn't go into the New D Casino.  It still had some plywood up so my wife and I decided not to go in.  Wish I had.  Thanks for the congrats and do you know how I can load pictures of this forum?  Thanks.

Happy 39th, papag!!!  Sounds like you had a great time--always WAY more fun when you make the big hits.  For your info for your next visit, you can pick up the bus to Sam's Town behind Harrah's.
