I was thinking of posting this. If you get called, it's a great deal. Some people get called more than once.
Ill be there on the 8th.

Good luck to you Bill. The management capped the entries to $400 coin in per day, so everyone has a good shot at winning. Mr. Dancer has the power to make the drawings unfair if there was no limits.

The way it was explained at the booth was you had to play $1600 to max out tickets for the day. This seems to say $400. I hope the $400 is correct.

I only see partial rules posted online, but reels earn 4x entries, so $400 on reels would reach the daily limit, however VP would require $1600.

Good catch there, thanks 924! I did not see video "reel".

I caught the commercial break on GWAE and Mr. Dancer confirmed $1600 coin in for maximum entries at $1 coin in for VP.

And within half hour after the Thursday night drawing and before midnight, players can earn additional 1600 entries. So drawing days count as 2 separate days.

Also another good thing I heard from Mr. Dancer is that at the last drawing day of the month, if the casino did not give away the full $500,000 prize pool after all the drawings each week, they'll keep calling names until the prizes dispersed exceeds it. You'd best plan to be there on the final date Bill.

One more update: There was no mentioning of any exclusive promotions to those receiving mailers.

For the month of October, the SouthPoint Casino again has opened their promotion to anyone playing with a Club card.

This month it will be the Money Madness type. It's more of a right place at the right time type of promotion rather than being guaranteed a little something for playing.

During this past episode on GWAE radio show, Mr. Dancer disclosed there will be a double points day taking place on Halloween.

But if you have flexibility, you're better off playing when the meters are near the must hit points. Also for the "fleas" as Bob calls them, you have to make a dollar wager every 60 seconds to stay eligible. I guess this means a dollar total (i.e. a point) every 60 seconds? Thats a bit unclear. Shutting out min bet penny slot bettors is not very cool.

I did not catch the part about the $1 wager per minute needed to be considered an active player. I agree that this promotion will not be favorable to the slot players (who are the heartbeat / valuable asset to the casino). These days penny slots require 25, 30, or 40 cent minimum wagers. They'll have to pace themselves to spin 3 times a minute to be eligible during their session.

Aside from that, I think the more troubling part is when they play a game that can potentially give boatloads of free games, such as Sun and Moon (seen too many 50 free spins over the years) and on your most recent Vegas trip, the Money Blast with all dynamites to give out 450 free games. I think after the 10th free game they will be "inactive" and if the big progressive hit, they'll miss out on the $25 envy prize.

The best way to go about it would be to play one max bet quarter video poker hand every minute.

Mr. Dancer has wrote a couple of articles about the Money Madness:

1. Indicating that the Money Madness promotion was his least favorite.

GamblingWithAnEdge.com 8-15-2015 - Working a Promotion That's Hard to Figure

2. Finding the opportune time to do it as you've described. Mr. Dancer combined two overlapping promotions as well as the meter went as high as $23,500 to make it worth his while.

I was tempted to do the Chevron Gas Card last Summer, but I did not. That had to be the best promotion since it was a month long double points type.
