Well, the plan for WPwQQ is to give it a try with a couple hundred and see what happens. A $10k spree could be disastrous to the trip budget if things don't go well. Number one goal of the trip is not to have to hit the ATM.

My last trip, playing mostly .50 and dollar 9/6 DDB, had me stuck $2500 and was hitting the ATM with a whole day to go. I never hit a single winner over 250 credits at halves or dollars. Luckily, a quarter dealt Dream Card royal allowed the ATM money to come home. I figured close to $3k should have been enough, but it wasn't.

Even though there is a White Castle about 1 minute from my house I can only "take them" about twice a year. Years ago I'd have them all the time, cheeseburgers,no pickle and extra onions, and I still think they have the best onion rings going. Great shakes too.

I did well on a DreamCard machine last year at M. I was playing 10 hand .10 denom on Saturday morning when I was dealt 4 to the royal and then I heard that magical "Dream Card" and the royal filled in for a very nice 4K payoff. I went back Sunday and played it again but at .25 denomthis time and was dealt quite a few small 4oaks and then was dealt quad aces and picked up a few kickers for another nice hand pay of $2,800.00. That particluar machine was very good to me over the period of time I played it.

Again PPP, have a fantastic trip and good luck to you.

Yeah, Bachannal is like $55, so the 4000rc and whatever I earn during the trip will cover most of it. I agree, Strip food is horribly overpriced. $22 for a breakfast buffet? I can't come close to eating $22 worth of bacon and eggs. 15 or so years ago ate at the Rio buffet and it was superb. I remember getting lost on my way back to the table.

Actually, the hotel tab is $86 because for some reason the first 2 nights were available on the offer; but the third night was ineligible - only casino rate of $45 plus $32 resort fee plus tax. Can't complain though as my other options were 3 nights at the Plaza with $75 FP or 2 comp nights at Ti with $50FP and rack rate for the third night. I hit up the Plaza for their $500 loss rebate last year - generating a little mail. I heard that promo has been cancelled though. They also had the tax day promo when I was there.

In and Out needs to compete with White Castle? Actually, WC sounds kind of tasty right now. Time for a little "spring cleaning". Wife and son are away, so I don't need to worry about being banished to the couch.

It seems you are well aware of the dining situation on the Strip. It is better to do brunch than pure breakfast to get more pricier items, but still there is no value as $22 can buy a weeks worth of bacon and eggs. I felt that Bachannal feels closer to a sit in restaurant quality, but it is worth trying once for the novelty. A $17 million buffet has the tiniest restroom is so awkward.

In and Out used to be a heavily restricted family run business where any relative or person married into the Synder family can operate 2 locations of their choice. Long story short that is no longer the case and the revenue boomed. I've only seen just one location close down which shows its success rate, but many more Burger Kings and Wendy's are closing down due to the health wave that started earlier this century.

Back in the good days, food was under priced so that players can use their money for gambling bankroll. Not so much any more when casino operation expenses are so high.

The Plaza is up in the air, I thought about pursuing the Plaza promotion but I did not because I could not make it to Vegas incrementally to collect the play if they were to honor the promotion.

If you can afford $1 DDB, I think you could have Mirage evaluate your play on your mLife card when you check out of the hotel, do it manually and not the on screen hotel room.

If you do not hit early enough on WPwQQ, the bankroll takes a big hit for you to play anything else. I would only play considerable amount if I am planning on coming back to the same casino to get bounceback offers. Otherwise it will hurt your bankroll at your local casino.

Ted, thanks for the good luck wishes.

10 cent DC sounds appealing. But is the M the place that used to called the Fitzgeralds? If so, I am banned from there.

My only 2 royals last year were on DC, both dealt, one for quarters one for dollars.

It is different. It is the M Resort. It is operated by Penn National Gaming.

You got confused with "The D" which was used to be Fitzgeralds

Day one is in the books.

Left Chicago on time amid light snow flurries around 20 degrees. Had boarding numbers B4 and B8. Dad and I went to the back of the plane and no one sat between us which made for a comfortable flight.

Headed to the Uber site and requested a ride. Surge pricing of 2.5X in effect! I declined. A minute later decided to try again and there was no surge, payed $15 to get to the Mirage. Traffic on surface streets was awful and it took 30 some minutes. Check in was smooth.

Unpacked and went to In and Out at the Linq. Line was long, but 10 minutes later we had our food. Burger was great, fries were disgusting.

Anxious to get my gamble and drink on, CP and I ducked into the Flamingo and I hit the Five Star. A few minutes in playing DDB QQ I hit a 444A3 for $100 and cashed out $51 ahead.

Over to the Cromwell and played the 9/7 TDB. Hit 2 quads and left a small loser. $20 here amd there in slots and mostly lost. Downed a Stone IPA.

Mosied over to Ti for some .50 9/6 DDB. First $100 yielded a 2 w/k for $400. Couldn't catch anything else and lost $100 over the next hour. $10 out of town FP was lost also. One Jack on the rocks which was pretty watered down.

Took tram to Mirage and played nickel Hot Roll. Couldn't connect with the multipliers and lost $100. On to 3play nickel ULTX, got essentially nothing and lost $100. Found a quarter Dream Card machine and hit a few quads, then aces for a $100 win. A few $20 here and there in slots, mostly loosers. Found the WPwQQ quarter machine. It was 9/5 DDB and I played 3 handed. Hit a QQ 4s with 60 credit spin early, but $200 was quickly sucked back in. Reloaded it and got a QQ 10 with a 50 coin spin. Then went south. One more $100 with one QQ 8 with a 125 coin spin. Busted again. $500 lost in this mqchine. Without a good flurry of QQ, at 21 quarters per game, money goes quickly. I had two Jack on the rocks. Pours were quite generous.

My $1000 envelope for the night made it back to the room safe with $135.

Gotta get some breakfast and head DT.

Midday report day 2

Tasty breakfast at Dennys. I am not a huge eater and for $11, I was satisfied.

Took an Uber to downtown. Soooo much better and faster than the bus and for two or more people, it is cheaper.

First stop was the Plaza. I had $25 in out of town FP. Sat down at a nickel/dime MH Dream Card playing a mix of 3 and 5 hand TDB for nickeks and dimes. Lost $300 in no time with no good hits to speak of. Moved to the full play Bonus Delux. Played quite a while at the .50 and $1 level. Hit one straight flush and no quads, losing the FP and $300. Drinking one vodka and cranberry which was good. Ordered an IPA, which came in a plastic cup. It was nasty and musty tasting.

Left the Plaza and wandered through the Golden Nugget, the Fremont, Four Queens, MSS, and the Cal. Played a $20 in the slots here and there, mostly loosing. Found a full pay $1 Bonus Deluxe, again no quads and lost $100. Saw a new Bonus Streak ULTX. Sat down with $100 playing 5 hand DDB nickels. Got it up to $140 with quad 4s with a 2X. Kept playing and soon was busted.

Today's envelope is down to the scraps and it isn't even dinner time yet.

We also are in Vegas, having arrived here last Tuesday. Our gambling results so far are similar to, if not, worse than yours. We are getting killed.

I hope, for both our sakes, that things turn around.
