Golden Entertainment to acquire ACE Properties

Post by alpax »

Title limitation prevents squeezing more information.

News about the acquisition on the casino industry front

https://www.reviewjournal.com/business/ ... a-casinos/

American Casino & Entertainment Properties

Stratosphere in Vegas
Arizona Charlie's Boulder
Arizona Charlie`s Decatur
Aquarius in Laughlin (probably the best VP in Laughlin?)

This possibly means ace|Play members will get transitioned over to Golden Rewards slot club.

Yes I believe that Aquarius has the only full pay VP in Laughlin. Time will tell what effect the new owners have on pay tables.

Thanks for the link

I think more than anything the Optimum Play bank will attract the attention of the new owners. I am hoping they do not make too many big changes. Other than the VP, I heard it is the best in Laughlin for all other things.

Yes that is correct, the articles I read Golden Entertainment runs casinos in Pahrump, most notably the Pahrump Nugget. This acquisition is showing they are "expanding" outside. I never been to that side of the state. I heard its the place to buy fireworks (not that I am into it) that is illegal in all other places.

I have only been there once, for an auction. Town is bigger than I expected.

Yes Art Bell. I remember many lonely late nights driving with Art Bell on the radio. His show was bizarre but always interesting

Wasn't the guy from Pahruph named George something?
Bell fled the country years ago, if I recall correctly.
