I made money on Mayweather --- but it was being social, not being a sharp.My sister-in-law wanted to bet $20 on McGregor and didn't want to stand in line at a casino. I told her I'd give her $100 if McGregor won, plus her $20 back.It was "close enough" --- for small stakes --- for family --- that I wasn't concerned exactly what the line was. I felt I had the edge and she probably wasn't going to get a better price anywhere else.

Mayweather lives in my neighborhood, he was at the M on Saturday, the day of his match, placing a bet on himself to win. M took the wager.

I'm pretty sure M did NOT take the bet of some $400,000. We're going to be talking about that on this week's GWAE show which will posted on Thursday.

You are absolutely correct . . . M did NOT take that bet. They did, however, take a "smaller" bet of about $80K from Mayweather, on him winning the fight. (If this is incorrect, I heard wrong!)

I believe the large $400K bet was him wanting to bet on a KO in 9 1/2 rounds or less (**which he would have lost).

The fight ended one minute into the 10th round. The bet Floyd wanted was under 9.5 rounds --- which he would have won. A friend/associate was able to get $80+ down.
