I smoked for 20 years before switching to JUUL vaping. Haven't had a cigarette in 3 years. I don't think people mind me vaping at the VP machines, since it doesn't produce any smoke or odor. What's the consensus on vaping at the machines (in the smoking section, of course)? Just the little vape pens: I'm not talking about the vape tanks that produce a 20-foot diameter cloud of vapor.

Tell me more about the JUUL and how does it differentiate from the latest news on deaths from vaping?

Ok ok, I have read all the negative comments about smoking. First second hand smoke is not going to kill you any faster then breathing the foul air of the city and other elements that are out there in so many products. Now I have been a smoker since I was 15 years old, I'm now 78. That's 63 years of smoking a pack a day. I have always enjoyed smoking, yea I know what all the naysayers have to say, but folks just get off the backs of smokers please. I'm Active, in good health and still going strong. Most likely something else will finely do me in before smoking and at my age what difference does it make? I really don't want to make it to 100 lol. Smoking now days is really a expensive habit, but I can afford it. Just give us some of the space back that we had to give up to all the nonsmokers. I applaud all of you nonsmokers and agree it is a bad habit, knowing what I know now, the cost etc. I would have never started.

Never too late to quit. In 5 years you could be clear and dodge the bullet. You then might live to 100.
BTW In a casino what have non- smokers taken away? My home casino is 98% smoking while smokers are only 13% of the population.
A comment on the cost factor. I have been a non-smoking/anti-smoking advocate since about the time you started smoking. However i have always felt that the use of government taxation to influence private behavior was WRONG! Dead WRONG!! The precedent is there for any future progressive liberal to run rampant with if given the chance.
Sorry about the digression.

We won't be here, but I have a feeling this forum will be filled with people complaining about pot in a couple of generations. The physical and mental healthcare costs. In Colorado they just made it ok to have pot smokers in bars. Now we have people driving high all the time - that's not ok. And also - by the way, smokers do not get pleasure in blowing smoke in non smokers faces - that's not what it's about.

Agree on the pot-ential problems Bobbi.
Now legal here in MI. and am wondering if casinos will allow it. It is enough of a zoo on weekends as it is.

In Colorado - there is no pot smoking in public - or casinos since we have non smoking casinos. I have encountered pot smoking on the smoking patios at our casinos.
