any card counters out there?

Post by stevel96a1 »

i been dabbling in card counting on various software and altered the betting ramp on the KO count and so far its doing reasonably well my question is what is the life span of a card counter in Pa or NJ?
i only read online what has happened so far there are people who played in atlantic city and made a decent living but common sense tells me if a casino is watching and catches you your out the door in 15min flat or since they can not ban you they will shuffle each hand over, again i can't imagine a gaming house permit someone to win hand over fist month in and month out and im sure the bans are a 1-3min process which is why i never seen one cause its over so quick

so is this something id have go to AC or gaming house in Pa to find out ? i read as long as you dont bet black or dont spread to 2 hands blah blah , any REAL info from a REAL player would be helpful thanks.

Better opportunities in PA.
When playing in either, camouflage is needed. I'm not sure an individual counter with a small bankroll is the way to go.

who said anything with a small bankroll? indeed i have a replenishable bankroll, Pa can legally ban me but ac on other hand will just shuffle up on me each hand

again i can see myself winning here and there and next week im gettin the stinkeye and shuffle up each hand in ac or in PA they just say leave now, no shirt no shoes no service they have the right to knock me out of the gaming house and ac can just min bet me but i read so many stories on other forums people making a living at this game and can not figure out how its done if the house is tracking their win/loss and im sure they are , 2 things are going against logic here

Why don't you ask the people on those other forums how they do it?

When it comes to card counting, anything less than $100,000 bankroll is small. Are you prepared to lose five figures multiple days in a row? If not, you are playing small stakes. Variance can kill you. Teams reduce your variance

thats not totally true, a 4hour session would call for a 20 max bet or 10-100$ or 2 grand id hate to lose 2grand in 4 hours while video poker been treating me good this past year playing quarters/half dollars, but i dont want to throw away something equal to two royals chasing something that may not happen or ban me altogether since my wife told me about video poker

if they don't spread the 8 decks prior to shuffle and placement in shoe , request them to do so. if they don't comply don't be adamant about it , just leave !!
