New TITOs have been installed at CET properties. These massive eyesores are really overkill. Big, boxy gray lugs with blue neon. Slip insertion is really low and hard to find if a tall person. Then it had the nerve to give me twenties when I just wanted hundreds and a quick escape. So I had to go to the cage anyway. Maybe they think that twenties will lure us back to gambling. Plus at Bally’s, they are too close to my bank. One is just two feet away, making play awkward. They look more like old servers. Too bad that the quaint TITOs have been put out to pasture.

I could tolerate them if they weren’t practically breathing down my neck. I definitely will curtail my play during peak periods to avoid the distractions created by the foot traffic. This is progress? Like new iPhones, too many bells and whistles.

If you ensconced yourself in the game you would remain more focused on your play and less focused on foot traffic around you. Less focus causes mistakes in play.

Absolutely. I expect to take a little break while seated if someone’s TITO transaction puts them right on top of me with this new unfortunate configuration. Problem solved. I’m also mad that these behemoth machines block the convenient outlet for phone charging.

So when you were kiting electricity from the casino when charging your phone were you calculating in the cost of the electricity into your comps?

Let me add to the levity. I have always wondered why casinos have memorialized Marshal Tito, a devoted communist, with this acronym.

I found the new machines to lightning fast compared to the old ones.

Faster, yes. But don’t dump twenties on me. I want big bills and head for the hills. For JM, they’re out of the way, except for Bally’s, where they’re obtrusive for VP grinders. They barely tolerate us of course, so nbd.
