Okay, but did they retain HH? I had no time to eat yesterday. I stayed at Sports Book 4.5 hours in a prime seat. Then I suddenly realized that I had come for a Tropicana gift and hopped on the jitney!

Went to Hard Rock AC buffet. Classic Rockers get a coupon for BOGO or 50% off Monday & Tuesday noon-2pm. They serve the all you can eat food. Price is now $30pp before discount.

Wonderful deal, and it keeps you off casino floors, which is always a win. I won't be rocking the CR deals for quite some time, but it is sure good to know they do some creative marketing. Shrimp, veggies, fries. What is top left? As a matter of fact, I should do this even on Saturdays. $30 is a steal for two hours off from VP with my damn luck.

I chose to eat at Tony Boloney’s today. A rather unfortunate selection. I was still famished after a $13 chicken sub.It is quite off the beaten path too, so that was a totally unnecessary trek! While scouting HR’s White House Subs on the way back, I also went by the buffet. It wasn’t too crowded. You can only order so much at a time, but eventually I think I would have gotten my money’s worth. WHS or buffet next time.

I went with White House HR and Kelsey’s today. I missed the oil and vinegar accents with the LTO. It was AOK. Original venue are a tad longer, I think. I made it a surf and turf day with two fish tacos five hours later.

Whats a jitney cost these days? Do any of the casinos offer free shuttles any more?

$2.25 unless they raised it recently. Caesars TR shuttle runs but not as often as before, maybe not as late either. And I believe they go to Trop now.

AC expressway raised their tolls though- from $3.00 to 4.25 (+41% !) after the Farley rest plaza and from 0.75 to 1.25 (+67% !!) at Pleasantville...during a national coin shortage. I guess they are trying to coerce the remaining cash holdouts to go EZ-Pass...
