That really sounds like an excellent $2 investment.

He's not Nostradamus. Everyone has a hot streak. Impressive as far as it goes.

It pays to read those pesky mailers.

I got one from Hollywood Casino Joliet a couple weeks ago advertising a 4 piece bedding set: comforter one week; sheets the next; pillows the 3rd week; and, a throw blanket another week. It clearly stated pick up anytime between noon and 8:00 pm. I was there within the allotted window and didn't gamble a penny inside the casino. Grab and run.
I picked up the 6 piece queen sheet set (4 pillow cases, 1 top sheet, 1 bottom sheet) today. Earmarked for the guest bedroom.

When Mike Francesca was just starting out on radio, he was a fill in sports broadcaster on the Don Imus show. One show he gave his choices and Imus said if he hit them all, he'd buy Mike a Porsche.
He won them all, but Imus wouldn't spring for the car. It started to get ugly in the papers, so WFAN gave Mike some extra shifts and he career was jumpstarted.

Ha. Mother of all parlays. I wouldn’t mind doing a nominal two team parlay of my two early picks this week. I have real phobia level trepidation about sports bets. We’ll see if I can push past it.

Platinum Status week. I will choose either a bottle of Belvedere vodka or Jack Daniels tomorrow. I should of course limit my play (loss) to have a trip worth toasting. I want to get toasted, not my BR. Jacks is more affordable than other whiskeys, especially Scottish and Irish variants that have strict ageing requirements. But I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. If I hit a seven win at craps, I will celebrate with Old No. 7.

I chose the Puritan Path. $20 towards a meal is thanks enough for my business. Hard to choose among such appealing options. CET has really beefed up their Platinum appreciation component.
