"to perform data system upgrades."

Hopefully, it won't take an hour before a quad post upgrade. They really drag it out here. And pay tables are probably in jeopardy.

Are they putting in a new slot club? If they're disassociating from Caesars Rewards, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

We'll have to wait and see the new product. It will be fascinating to see them set up shop for themselves as a stand alone. I would still drop in to see some of the old faces and maybe even play if tables stay put.

Why was this particular property struggling so badly to perform? When I visitied atlantic city the location of Ballys was ideal because when you drive into and arrive at the city it is one of the first places you see or drive past, and it was right in the middle of the Boardwlk. That is kinda bad.

I have not played there in about twenty years, but back then I thought it was pretty dated. I'd play in the Wild West a bit but not the main casino, and my only stay there was a disaster. I walked into the room they gave me to find someone elses clothes scattered about. It took almost an hour to get a new room and they offered me a coupon for a free coffee and donut. Food options stunk, and their buffet limited you to one small steak.
That and the Hilton were the two casinos I avoided as much as possible.

Wild Wild West is now part of Caesars AC, apparently. I'm not an AC player, so this may not be new news.

“We are excited to announce that Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino will be rolling out a new rewards program beginning February 18, 2021,” said Michael Monty, the casino’s assistant general manager. “The new program will provide greater rewards for Bally’s AC’s loyal players and guests, enhancing their overall gaming experience, while maintaining players’ current tier status.”

It was like a VP and time travel combo experience. They must overhaul the place. Music is minimum forty years old. At least Caesars is only thirty. Their idea of an upgrade is the new Dunkin’ Donuts above the valet. The full pay machines are uprights. This means that players either must quit early at a loss due to their sheer physical discomfort or tolerate even more pain for their premium hand.
