I hope they didn't separate your buns and they didn't separate the slider buns either because they had to give you something to gripe about.

Observations are not gripes. It did ruin the symmetry of the overall presentation, now that you provoke food for thought. But I shall certainly be back. No shortage of obnoxious patrons swamping this fine establishment. A nice bonus is the nearby outlet for my charger.

I hit Dougherty’s for lunch again. After a half hour, I was told that the kitchen never got my order! I thought that I saw a runner drop it off at another table, so who knows what the mix up really was. But I did get my Miller Lite draft comped. I will simply have to feast on today’s win.

Dougherty’s is back on my radar as a celebratory treat after a healthy win. I had crab and kobe sliders. The crab were fabulous, full of fresh flavor. Iceberg lettuce bed and topped with sriracha tartar sauce. Too spicy for my palate; I’ll ask for traditional next time. Kobe shots were one for two from the charity stripe. The medium one was fine, but the well done one was poor. I’ll give this a rest on a return visit. Presentation was lazy and rather sloppy. They need separation, like their meatball and crab cousins. But it’s an excellent menu and rather than beat a dead Kobe, I will simply move on.

Faa, If you're down on a Friday, take a Jitney to the Knife and Fork for the Friday lunch specials. $17.50 for 3 courses. Terrific martinis too, but that ups the price.

Yes, excellent deal. Unfortunately, the schedule does not work. Those two HH appetizers totaled $15.

Excellent advice. It means a much shorter walk as well. I will add to the rotation.
