Re: Return to borgata
Has Caesars Diamond (Laurel) lounges in Atlantic City gone back to a normal buffet? Or is it still pick 1 app, 1 entree, and a small dessert?

I can get comped rooms in September but not July or Aug.

Those are reserved for the top of the food chain. You're one level of fish below them. I'll be on the attack tomorrow. The $250 hits are getting old. I need to break through to lusher pastures.

As of 7/2 the laurel lounge at Harrah's was still as you describe. And since the rise in COVID positivity, I would think they have their excuse to keep it that way. I was in the 7* lounge and didn't eat but top shelf liquor for sure. Will be there next weekend so I will check them out and report.

Diamond lounges are only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sad. One of the reasons I moved on. This past Thursday was the first time 7* was open on Thursday, but guess what, not to many players knew.

You made the right call, even with this being an ancillary reason. VP gaming now feels like a hollowed out shell. And the whole scene just got played out. The renovation work is a day late and a buck short.

The Friday-Sunday Laurel lounges doesn't work for my wife and I since comp rooms for us are Sun-Thu. The buffet in the lounge was something we both enjoyed pre-covid. The last 2 times in AC during the spring we used Bally's lounge instead which was free (low level diamond) as they tried to get your business. They had the same pick an item format as Caesars. I read elsewhere to not expect Eldorado to put lounges in all the casinos (or any) because they bought Caesars to turn it around and start making money.

Yes, I do remember that being an emphatic point. It’s all moot to me. I’m just concentrating on having a winning year.

I went to Bet MGM sports bar but they were closed. So I went to B-Bar instead. I got this.

Congratulations. I always seem to get my premium hits there and hope to equal you this weekend. May I ask how many hours you spent on the machine? 50% chance that I max bet dollars, but I surmise that you are a supremely rational gambler. Hell, you were even playing JOB.
