3 and a half hours. The terminal was by the beer taps. I started playing the BDW game (25¢). Deuces were coming around very frequently and getting winning hands. It was going good so I raised my denomination to 50¢. BDW started to die so I change to JOB. I started at 50¢ denomination. I got 2 quads early and several other winning hands so I bumped it up to $1 denom. Within 5 minutes playing I was dealt this hand. They have new TITO redemption machine. When you cash your ticket it will round up to the nearest dollar. If you have $1.25, it will give you $2.

Thanks. Great information. I have had similar experiences. JOB dies off dramatically, and I scramble in panic to BPD. I start at quarter there, but switch very quickly to fifty. Two quads early is pretty impressive. Amazing that you pressed your luck; I would have left. I've had one early and considered quitting. I had to maneuver into BPD for another after 75 long minutes. You kind of confirm Olds' experiences. You may have to endure a marathon job on the damn machine to crank out the jackpot. My paltry two hours won't even do the trick! More like four. I know that this is all entirely anecdotal, but I see the writing on the wall tendencies. I play fairly close to the taps also. Made a note to try the TITO. Screw the cashier if extra cash is involved.

I’m in a good mood and most eager to return after Jim’s masterful play. I guess that I could afford a cab ride back to the boardwalk after 3.5 hours of solid play.

Can you please explain to the class just how JDW's play would affect your play? Thank you in advance.

I have posted this on another post awhile ago. When I sit down play I always start at 25¢ ( Deuces joker poker, Bonus Deuces Wild, Deuces Wild). If I am getting a lot of deuces and getting winning hands I will bump up my bet. Then see how it goes. If I am still getting winning hands I'll bump it up again.
The reason I do this is to take advantage of a winning situation to accumulate comps, comp dollars, tier pts,..
I strive to get the upgraded players card ( Borgata Gold card ) to get the benefits it has.
I heard that the casino marketing and casino host look at a combination TIME, COINS THRU, AND THE DENOMINATION of play in ranking a player.
I heard they have some math formula for a player for THEORETICAL LOSS .
If anybody knows any more about this. Please elaborate. Thank-you

OTHER NEWS ! !
At the Borgata they have new TITO redemption machine. When you cash your ticket at the machine it will round up to the nearest dollar if you have a $1.25. it will give you $2.
Let's see how long this will last.
Are there any other casinos that do this ?

Possibly how they are dealing with the coin shortage. But you don't have to think too long to figure out how this would be easy to exploit.
Perhaps there is more to it, such as a minimum ticket value or maximum amount it will "round up?" Otherwise you are literally printing money here.
Or maybe they got all fancy and the tickets also somehow indicate a certain amount of play that would trigger it, rather than having it be the case for all tickets.
Possibly they would approach anyone with a huge wad of tickets and ask them to take them to the cashier to be totaled.
Or maybe they just counted how many tickets get cashed in a day and decided it was worth it without thinking too far ahead.

It was funny watching everybody reaction when they realize the tickets were being rounded up.
