Okay, that beats waiting around for a $125 hit. Of course, risking $15 a spin is not my idea of fun. I might do some practice triple play here to get a feel for how it would all play out. Did you ever move?

No, maybe I should have, but this particular machine has gotten streaky hot at times and run an initial 100 bucks up to 1k.

Moving doesn't matter unless it's to a different pay table...or the pay table caters to your bankroll and risk tolerance.

I know. That's why I didn't move.

Agreed. But after -$200, I’m just getting the hell off strictly for my sanity. That’s already a huge mountain to the break even summit. Any great day dreams have been crushed.

MGM provides a granular monthly won/loss statement with precise coin in and coin out statistics. The return wasn't so hot. I lost $130 last month. Hopefully I can recoup that with two trips this month.

Losing $130 may not be bad if you were playing dollar denomination. What was your total coin in and you actual return?

Both figures were low $6,000. I'm not too concerned. But I can't have that be a monthly event either. It's a pleasant AC side trip, but I'm not paying $1,500 a year for bar drinks and ambience.

FAA: MLife MasterCard is your answer. Use it like you would a debit card, charge everything to it and pay off every month. You will accrue tier credits and comp $$$s on everything. On property ( Borgata )3x, food & gas 2x, everything else is 1x. Supposedly in Vegas, it’s 25x on any property. Imagine earning 25,000 tier credits for $1,000. Work the system, because I can tell you being able to eat and drink at Amphora Lounge every week is definitely worth it.
