When I was in the military I was stationed not too far from Atlantic City and some buddies and I went there a few times. This was before the casinos and it was really just a dump with a boardwalk on the ocean. Have not been back since. But I imagine it is nicer now.
Many people will say, still a dump once you are outside the casino. I know people who live there and would get out in a heartbeat if they could. Just the truth.

The city itself is really a depressed cadaver. Do not walk around if your pace is on the slower side.

I always thought the state of NJ should offer incentives for people to move out of AC. Maybe free housing in a place like Bridgeton, Vineland, Camden Etc. Win/win.

They still roll out the red carpet for a select few.

Target has now muscled in on AC. Hasbro apparently has a deal to whore their game out to Target. It’s just such a tacky eyesore. Anything for a buck.

Quad bookends, courtesy of yours truly. Just like the old days. Game as boring as ever.

I would have been better off running up and down its stairs for two hours than my ill fated Borgata side trip.

No thanks. I don’t even give them a passing thought when I pass them by. I’ll iron out the Borgata wrinkles. Switching machines, getting off tilt mode.
