Opted to go and honor the reservation (and 10X RC). Very expensive room...$5.27 on the CC and over 2 large on the wallet. One hand pay enabled me to extend Elite to 2023. With modest luck this year I'd be 7*. Food and beverage was on the house- courtesy of me!

Of course that damn 10X RC started at noon last Sunday. By then I was living it up at the Resorts book. They never make it easy. Promotions always seem to coincide with low patronage hours!

Seems if you were that close then you chose to make it hard by spending time at Resorts. It was as easy as a 15 minute walk. They have Fri 5-9pm in addition to the Sun 12-4. What is low patronage about those times? Plus you say you're not a sports bettor?

Fri 5-9 PM and Sun 12-4 PM conflict with my schedule. I don't expect this offer on Saturdays, of course. I do not bet on sports beyond an impulsive money line bet. Just enjoy the atmosphere and can follow the entire NFL from one convenient location. I prefer that to VP.

The Yard at Bally’s opened today. Free cap with any Tito’s vodka drink. I chose the Blue Hawaiian. I wonder if it was a coincidence to choose to promote the most popular domestic vodka on July 4th weekend.
