Jitney Jaunts

My last two weeks of jitney travel are unusual. Last week, the man next to me got off near Resorts. The route resumed. I looked down and found $2 that he had likely dropped, defraying my fare.
Today I noticed a woman’s voucher and asked where she purchased it, as my efforts have been unsuccessful. She gave me directions to a deli three blocks south. Then she offered to sell me an extra one for a dollar, her senior rate. I accepted, again defraying my fare. “I did my good deed for the day,” she said. Hope she did better at Ocean than I did at Borgata.

I personally would have tipped the jitney driver the "found" $2.00 in addition to the windfall that you were already toking him. I do not know how old you are but if you are not old enough to merit the senior rate and you used it anyway: this is fraud. In the words of that Great American Gomer Pyle: "Shame, shame."

Yep, thanks for confirming her 411, Jim. Don’t ask, don’t learn. Hey, it was a spontaneous transaction and almost rude to decline. When someone is made an offer they can’t refuse, they usually accept. The check cashing venues may be hit or miss, so I’ll hit the deli.

Rude to decline? Did the thought of how many others who said no prior to you jumping on this offer you could not refuse come into your thought process? You saved a whopping $1.25 so next week that's 3 hands of .25 video poker for you to enjoy.

Being a Good American and a card carrying member of AARP, I had no choice but to report FAA's possibly improper use of a senior fare jitney ride to the proper authorities. An amicus curiae complaint was filed for the dolus specialus committed by FAA ex facie after his admitting the nature of the fact.

I was assured that members of the AARP Special Investigations Division working in conjunction with officers from the New Jersey Gaming Commission office located on Pennsylvania Avenue will be performing a sting operation, under direction of George Roy Hill, in the not too distant future.

I was assured that any results of this operation may be presented to Congress and they may decide to empanel a special grand jury.

One or two hands; under three coin quarter play rare. The offer was an unpredictable byproduct of the chat, as you know but haughtily ignore.

Why be a dick? I realize it comes naturally but most adults can filter themselves.

People should be free to post what they want, as long as they aren't giving bad advice on how to play a casino game. That includes FA who shouldn't have to worry about someone bullying him every time he posts.
