Wishful thinking. Where can Average Joe claiming their TC room expect to be lodged?
I can’t believe I’m asking you this, have you ever checked your offers at the casinos you play at, I mean everyone can get a room this time of year even with your minimal play.

I have checked offers intermittently and always come away disappointed. I get discounted rate quotes whenever I look or they send emails. But now I may as well take advantage of my one free night a year. Of course, still on hook for $30 fees/taxes. If I was a higher roller, I'd be more vigilant.

Discounted, schmiscounted...You get $25 FP AND $25 Direct bet table play every week, you should qualify for a room, even if it's Sun-Thur.

CET is proudly splashing the suites across its new ads. Now this is living it up.

I finally booked my “free” CET room for next month, just before the offer expires. But I now read that there is a $20 pool usage fee on top of the other ripoff fees. They claim that they “have aligned with our sister properties, Caesars and Tropicana, who implement a cover charge for their pool.” This is outlandish. I may as well cancel and just stay high and dry at Caesars, saving myself a Marina trip. I’ll sure miss that glorious pool, which motivated my Harrah’s choice in the first place.

How much is the resort fee? Is the pool an additional automatic $20 fee on top of the resort fee? Can you opt out of the resort fee?

Years ago I used to workout with a guy who's nickname was "Diesel." As imagined, Diesel could be moderately intimidating. One Saturday afternoon we were working out and I mentioned to Diesel that I was thinking about going out that night but I really wasn't sure. Diesel looked at me and said: "Ted, treat yourself, don't cheat yourself."

FAA - treat yourself, don't cheat yourself.

The new a la carte hotel pricing policy sweeping the nation is a giant lump of coal for consumers. Mean Mr. Grinch has nothing on these thieves. I’m also resigned to paying the early check in fee of at least $10.

Maybe if you offer to make up the room from the previous guest instead of the maid they may knock a few bucks off for you. This way too you can nab any half eaten bags of chips that may be in the trash can.

I just don't waste money either but complimenting you by calling you frugal would insult those who actually are frugal.

Come on FAA, geez...

I wasn’t exactly expecting someone who seeds a machine with $1,000 to be a consumer advocate.
