No wonder the website is down. Cannot get anyone on the phone not even the host. Must be mass chaos in Borgata

All MGM properties are under a cyber attack. It started Sunday. Guests could not even get into their rooms as keys would not work. Real mess and won’t be over for awhile.

I just heard this as well. I just talked to a Mohegan Sun employee since I had to cancel a room and they hadn’t heard anything about it. I’m sure the higher ups know. Of course we have MGM Springfield not that far from the Ct casinos here.

It didn't fully affect us here in Detroit until overnight last night.

In Las Vegas, slot attendants were running around with hand fulls of currency paying players off when they wanted to cash out of machines. What a disaster.

Will they pay the ransom or not?

I don’t know, but they are certainly failing in crisis management and transparent communication with MGM Rewards members, with no updates as to status of accounts, any data leaks, etc.

As of September 28th, the video poker games are operating. These machines are printing vouchers for cash accumulated. The machines are theoretically recording play. The machines do show the points earned. The suits at the MGM Rewards desk claim that patrons will get credit for their play (we can only hope). Free play dollars and slot dollars are able to be downloaded. However, all promotions are not being honored, i.e. Multiplier. Comp dollars are not being honored at the Buffet except for Platinum Card Members. You are unable to see your comp dollar balance.

Thanks for the update, more than MGM or Borgata are telling loyalty account holders. I find it hard to trust them though that play is being tracked and will be added later, and the inability to use comps (or to even confirm our existing balances are still there) or other promotions we had is a deal breaker for me. That’s what helps offset the house edge and adds a little fun to the experience. Oh well, I have an upcoming trip I’ll probably cancel if they don’t provide more detail soon.

I stayed there last weekend. If you have a room reservation. When you check-in they gave us $150 food credit. When you go to the buffet or wherever you want to eat. Just charge the bill to your room.
I think that I am a gold card status they gave me $150. I heard some people only recieved $75 food credit.
I don't know what that person card status is.
We use the $150 credit and it did not show up on my bill when I checked out on the TV inthe room.
