Borgata B Bar

Officially closed, scheduled reopening by Memorial Day. Inside information, there will be 4 less machines, this is to accommodate walk ups that don’t know what a VP Bar is and are willing to pay $18 for a rum and coke. Sad. I was hoping for an expansion and a system that rewards the players who are actually playing and not the ploppers who just milk the system for free drinks.

That sucks! Mohegan closed one of their lounges except for weekends and even then it’s all Asian menu. Another bar with 99 VP has had no bar service in like a year. They say they are doing a ton of business on line. In general the lounge menu has not been good and way understaffed. Actually, I like to play at the closed bar and the waitresses I know always find me and take care of me. At least that way I can concentrate on VP and not be distracted by the sometimes loud obnoxious drunks that frequent all of the bars. Some just put their card in. Play from 1-4 quarters and split with a 16 buck drink. Sometimes no tip on top of it.

It is sad, and just part of the continuing trend as casinos focus more on revenue from food, drinks, and entertainment and less on the in-house gaming experience. As you stated people are willing to pay $18 for a rum and coke, and even more for restaurants, shows, etc. Good luck anyway to all,

Bad news. But I'll be back once to see the transformation. I'm sure that it will live up to Borgata's usual elegance. I don't know that a CET rum and coke is $18. I'd be curious to ask at a regular Harrah's bar just for the sticker shock experience.

Most restaurant and bar cocktails at Mohegan are now 14-18. Even beer averages 9-12

Is this picture is what the B-Bar will look like? I found out today the Bet MGM Sportsbar will be open 24 hrs. 7 days a week during the b-bar renovations.

I didn’t have the heart to take a picture of the B Bar all boarded up. The pic of the 4 acres with kicker is from on line Borgata. Every morning I check for totally free games, usually 5-10 spins on some random slot game. The other day won about $7, switched to single had TDB and hit for $320. Printed out voucher and cashed out at Sports Book during my regular trip yesterday. The start of the new year was great. The hit on multi strike was literally the first hand. Amphora great as usual.
