I just returned from Ocean. If you like single play VP, you will be disappointed. The entire smoking VP area is GONE! The non smoking ones are there for now, but that area is smoking now. A small non smoking area has NO single line! Some new machines were going in, but they are all multi line varieties. Nearly all 10? of the single line ones were occupied by keno players. The bar in the back is uncomfortable to play at because the machines are flat. The sports bar was packed with no empty machines. I just played free play on a slot and left. Golden Nugget has a bunch of new single line VP and it was nice there. It looks like that might be my new home.

I had free parking at ocean with the preferred card. And I had just earned it for next year. I liked playing there because it was near the windows. I was only at Golden Nugget for a bit to check it out. I like the new machines there as they are similar to the ones at Ocean, and there are a lot of them. There were even a few old shockwave ones there. I will visit Ocean again if I want to go on the boardwalk. I want to check out Hard Rock better. I saw something on VPfree that is interesting.

Ocean sounds terrible for VP. Borgata B Bar will be just as packed next month. I like Resorts HL room, but will limit play to maybe 45 minutes a trip. If I lose, it won’t be enough to ruin my weekend. I also like Horrors Cove, God help me.

I haven't paid for parking in 15 years. You only need to play about five minutes to earn if you need to. Give me better pay tables anyday.

Ocean vp was not horrible. I like quarter single line vp . The problem is they are eliminating more than half of them, and I really don't care for playing at an uncomfortable bar. They also took out the taco truck that I loved. The pizza place is only on weekends. Most of my play was their bonus poker version that is slightly better than 8/5 jacks or better. If I did go up to $1, they had 9/5 jacks. GN has the same game in their new machines plus a few surprises. And there are plenty of them, along with a few older games I enjoy.

I loved that taco truck. Fond memories of loading up with their low prices. The pizza place makes a nice calzone. I am not fond of JOB anymore, and certainly not at 98.4%. I loved quarter single line at Caesars back when the pay tables were optimal.

I'm looking forward to my first trip to AC with a goal to match my Caesars Diamond Plus status to Ocean Prime and maybe some others like Hard Rock Icon.
