Oh I see, he had INTRODUCED $800,000.00 of bogus, or COUNTERFEIT chips into play and MANY or lots more chips were found to be in his POSESSION.

As for the television coverage I may be thinking about one of the channels that airs a poker show with Mike Sexton and Vincent Van Patton, wasn't Vince Van Patten Dick Patten's SON?

What exactly are PROPER tournament procedures? As for eventually coloring up to chips bigger in denomination than $5,000.00, wouldn't he have been discovered at the point of coloring up? That is IF he were still in the TOURNAMENT or would he have purposely lost and got paid a TIDY sum instead of taking his chances AND going for a bigger PAYOUT?

http://www.cnbc.com/id/101588190this is interesting, I had heard that Borgata was going to do this anyway, on their own, as simply "the right thing to do" (and ofcourse as a PR move to maintain goodwill amongst its players and the community because, as much of a TURD as this Lusardi guy was, it was Borgata's fault for not catching on much sooner.)   I did not realize they were essentially forced to do this by the gaming comm.On a more lighthearted note, anyone know the actual room number this guy dumped the chips into the crapper and flooded the surrounding area and floors???     I think this will become another "landmark", like the room in which OJ was busted at Palace station, or the room in which Greg Raymer was both robbed of his World Series Bracelt, and later busted for hiring prostitutes, etc etc.
