Progressive Linkage

I was wondering to what extent progressive machines are linked in AC. How does the networking of these machines work? It seems rather mysterious.

I believe all the answers can be found in the New Jersey Gaming Regulations FAA. There may even be a specific chapter for them.

That sounds like a great source. I do lack the patience for such a fishing expedition and am hoping the pioneers here can shed some light.
