Last trip will be divided into 3 parts: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
The Good, losing session for me but not much QQs kept me in the game, Super Triple Play not so good. Dealt 3oak on 5 play 13 times, not one 4oak, thats ok makes up for the time i was dealt 4oak.

The Bad, gentleman who I see regularly on my visits left machine to say hi, returned to his machine 30 seconds later ticket gone from machine. Called security, saw tape, young man passed ticket off to old man with cane and he cashed ticket. Yuk! talked to cops and security says it happens all the time at all the other casinos too, you have to be more careful, I said if it happens all the time what are YOU doing to prevent it. Crickets.

The Ugly, now this is where it gets shaky so bear with me. The 100 play QQ machine are mainly played by 7* players and people who are totally clueless. This pass week man puts in $1 hits 100 play and doesn't understand why machine does't work, try to explain, gives me stink eye and walks away. Heard from many sources that the only reason these 100 play QQs are here is that a group of 7* players threatened to leave Harrahs if they were not installed. Now over the last couple of years I've watched alot of play on these machines but last week was something to be hold. 7*[ who I didn't recognize] puts $60 into machine. Now he doesn't play 100 hand he plays 67 hands. He gets Dealt 4 QQs and then dealt 4 deuces with kicker playing TDB in 10 minutes. WTF. I'm watching this and my head is spinning. Now I've seen other 7* players win, alot but not like that. One young Oriental lady plays next to me alot she has 2 7* cards, I ask her why she changes cards sometimes she stated sometimes machine likes one card better Huh? Is there a way that they can do the opposite of what DB claims, can they LET someone win, can the server be manipulated to allow this. These players put thousands of dollars in these machine, are they letting them win knowing they will put it back.

What would you suggest they do?

AS a weekly visitor I have watched certain individuals doing laps around my playing area, I once counted one young man pass me over 10 times in an hour. I don't think he was looking for a machine to play. If I can see this why can't the security personal put someone like that on a watch with the overhead cameras.

what do you think the casinos would do if their casino cages were being held up? would you ask the same question? don't most casinos have facial recognition programs? identify the thieves and prosecute them. at the very least, ban them from the property. there are only so many casinos in AC, the crooks will be out of places to do their dirty work. 

At Mohegan Sun, I have seen security follow the tapes of the person who stole a ticket and nab them in another area of the casino. I don't know the outcome, but they did get him. These trollers are always around and quick. Have to be super careful. Even leaving your card in the machine by mistake is risky. Some of the vendors in the mall and restaurant don't check Id like they are supposed to on all transactions. You could have your points vanish in a hurry if that happens.

jeter,are there ultimate x machines in that area?lately every time i go to AC,no matter what casino,the trollers are waiting for someone to leave an ult.x looking for leftover multipliers.

Player cards are truly worthless. Everybody is carded to death at stores and restaurants. The MS security sounds superb. Protecting the high net worth CT patrons must be paramount.

Yes, but they are called Vultures, not trolls. They are looking to play any multipliers left on the machines. I wouldn't but them in the same category because I don't think they are looking to steal, they're just looking for that slight advantage.

Correct. We have the trollers too. The vultures are an entirely different breed for the most part. I know of one vulture/troller combination that got banned though. He was a really bad actor and preyed on the elderly. Being elderly myself, he picked on the wrong patron to show one " how to play ". I let him try and do his thing and then pretended I had an important pc and left. I later watched him for awhile. When I saw him scam another senior out of some real money, I just alerted security to keep an eye on him. Pretty soon the suits arrived and I haven't seen him since. That was several years ago. Hope I saved some other seniors who are so vulnerable for all kinds of scams. Not so much when you are still in your 60's or early 70's, but something clicks upstairs for some when they hit around 80, and those are the folks who fall prey to all kinds of scams.
