All AC VP players here should draft some sort of virtual document. It would be a self imposed communal boycott of dud casinos. We can surely agree on most of the list. DB, you in particular seem terribly masochistic in your continued patronage of these dubious establishments. I'm even writing off Bally's now. The benefit of the doubt has long left the building. The hell with convenience. I'll go next door. Peace out!

One thing to keep in mind, especially on the boardwalk side is that there is very little action now [winter season] and the machines are not seeing a lot of volume. Could this be part of the issue, I don't know for sure but the machines surely are not turning over alot.

Absolutely Jeter! I've had that feeling in my subconscious. Glad that you articulated it for me. From Sun-Th, they will come to resemble old Showboat's machines year round now. I would do well to halve my roll until June. Just go for the restaurants and lounging. Best to keep my powder dry.

I'm glad you spelled her name in small case. That pretty much says it all. One thing for sure unfortunately....you can never count the Clintons out.

Could this be part of the issue, I don't know for sure but the machines surely are not turning over alot.Excellent point/post, especially if you buy into the concept that all Video Poker games are NOT as inherently random as everyone believes (or used to believe)......what I mean is this:   We have previously felt, and articulated, that with any standard video poker game with the standard RNG & supporting programming, the odds of getting ANY specific hand/result  on one deal/draw will be exactly the SAME as the previous deal/draw, and any subsequent deal/draw!     Specifically, if I hit deal (followed by a draw) on a DDB game and I score a Royal Flush, the VERY NEXT hand that I play on the same game/machine will have the exact same odds/probability of getting a Royal Flush!    The previous hand result(s) have no bearing on what the next hand result will actually be!This "independence" of hand results from previous play is one of the bedrock principles of ensuring video poker is truly RANDOM and fair.     Thus, the concept that Jeter illustrates, where the lack of PLAY during the seasonal lull on the remaining Boardwalk casinos in AC is causing the video poker games there to be far more "Stingy" and less likely to deal premium winning hands, is at odds with what most of us here have been articulating the last 6-7 years!I am not saying jeter is right or wrong, I just think his theory is pretty strong if....IF someone buys into the concept that the games in the AC casinos are not random in the sense that we have previously been stating......something is (again) afoot!

whether any AC VP machine or any machine in any casino is rigged or not really random, is almost a mute point. the beauty of the free market is that the consumer gets to decide whether something has value. and, in many casinos, the consumer has spoken. after just spending 3 days in AC, over a weekend, playing at all different times of the day/night, it was obvious the majority of VP machines just sat idle. i see this in nearly every casino i visit. if there was real value, if the players felt they were getting their monies worth, they would be playing. instead, i keep reading posters on this site folks talking how they have cut back, and the proof is visible when i go to most casinos. even vegas casinos, with increased tourism, is seeing less gaming. what i saw in AC was that if you took out of the casino all the young people, many that were just there to party (did see some at table games), the casinos would be  appear even less active.

The younger crowd love craps and blackjack. They spend enough time staring at screens already. Why play slots or VP?
