Last 3 weeks have been good. Switched all my play to DB 10 hand QQs. I had been bricking too many dealt 3oak and QQs that I felt a change was needed. Worked out well, the last 3 weeks netted me $500, $300 and $4. Enough about me this is the story section so I will relate what happened this last Thursday. A lady sits down nest to me on the 100 play QQ machine and after awhile she asks me why her machine wasn't saying QQS! like mine. I in formed her that she wasn't playing QQ just reg. 100 hand. She asked if I would teach her I said sure I'm here all day. Explained that it was $6 to play 100 hand QQ and if she was ok with that, she said sure and wanted to play DDB. After a few basic lessons [66+2+4 = 3 6s] etc., she started playing and got a few QQs which made her happy. she gets dealt 4 deuces, she asked what to do told her to hold the 4 2s and to pray, 21 kickers later she was in heaven. Half hour later she gets dealt QQs. Thanks me and cashes out $1000. After dinner return to my machine and a gentleman I had met on a few previous occasions [ he was actually the one who had his tickets stolen from his machine last month ] was there waiting for me. Asked me where I was last week, told him I went to my room early and must have just missed him. He pulls out this crappy flip phone and shows me a picture. He hit the joker poker progressive for $9500!!. Good for him, karma karma karma. He sits next to me at the 100 play QQ machine and starts playing DDB gets dealt deuces with kicker and an hour later dealt aces with kicker!! I took my $4 and went to bed.

Even or better are great trips in my book Jeter. Those stories sound so familiar. I posted the other day about the lady sitting next to me that hit 2 Royals on Ultimate x just 20 hands apart. She had only put a 20 in the machine. Glad your Karma rubbed off on some probably pretty nice people too.

Great stories. Harrah's has hardly had happy hours for me. But this does augur well. Enough that I will allow maybe a ten visit sample size.

Next weekend I must prioritize Harrah's. If only I went today. Boardwalk bloodbath. I won $15 Bally's FP. Then lost it plus $20. I won $35 craps. Guy hit a five of all things for $25, then crapped out for $10. On to Claridge lunch. Hit $31 Caesars quad, giving me $47 total. Lost it. $60 ATM, also lost. I couldn't get out of my own way away from the craps table. Damn Progressive had just been hit, a real downer to begin with. Back to lunching in town from now on to escape the casinos. Leaving the ATM card home an awesome freaking idea too. Bally's had a $2M slot tournament. I was hoping my lone entry would be called, but it too was not meant to be.

Glad you are on the mend DB. Since I hadn't seen too many posts by you lately, I was hoping you were out cleaning up in some live poker tournaments. I'm sure it feels good to get back into the swing of things. As I have posted many times before, health Trumps everything ( no pun intended ) and I hope yours and all who post here can maintain theirs for many years to come.
